Well, this account is new, but I'm certainly not new to DeviantART.  I have another account, which will remain unnamed because of its content.  This account is centered to my Motherly side, which I recently discovered when I had kids two years ago, lol.  

I have two girls, a 2-year-old and a 1-year-old.  They were born exactly 1 year and 1 week apart and are very attached to one another.  My 2 year old is at the age where she's become interested in art, playing pretend, and being creative in general, and has developed attachments with certain TV show characters.  This all inevitably ends up in me sitting down at the kiddy table to color or to draw with her, or to make little craft projects for her as gifts and such.  This has really been my only outlet for art for quite some time, because (news flash) raising kids is hard work!  I've taken my older daughter's artistic interest as a chance to sit down and do quick sketches whenever time permits.  If I can manage to put the sketches away before she steals them to color all over them, I'll post the ones I'm not embarrassed of here (some of which I'll be giving permission for others to color).  The little gift projects I make, I'll post pictures of here, though I am terrible at photography.  The general idea is to give me an outlet for my art and a more appropriate place (than my other account) to share it.

First and foremost, I am a parent, though.  So, long absences, and slow responses are to be expected.  And that's pretty much it!  Yay for parenting!
